How the system works?

System consists integrated server with database for material scheduling and handling and interconnected media player computers. Players communicate with the server and the playlists and media materials are downloaded into players via network automatically.

Media files are delivered into servers with preset lists. This enables the players to play material independently so the system is not dependent on the stability of the network. If material or playlists change, these files and information are downloaded into players again. If the network is down players keep on playing the media without interruption. Network is therefore only needed when updating material and playlists for the players.

Within the system there is also a possibility to publish and deliver RSS-feed information from various sources, publish web-pages in displays and feed in specific material with tailored templates and styles. These special feeds can be for example; real time business data, industrial data, price information, news, weather, and commercials.
